Maytag Front Panel Clips?

Hola!

Does anyone have a couple of front panel clips for a Maytag washer?

My next-door neighbors (who are also my landlord and landlady) have an A606 washer that needed a repair recently; in reinstalling the front panel, my landlord managed to break one of the clips.

These are people who've been very good to me, and I'd like to find this part for them if I can.

These are the clips that the top lip of the panel fits into for re-installation; you then swing the bottom of the panel down to re-install the two screws down there.

Any help is greatly appreciated! P.S.: I do expect to pay for these, mmkay? Somma youse are toooooo generous!

If I'm reading my parts list correctly the original part number for that clip was 212982. It seems to have been superseded by part number 22001650, which is still available. Here's one link for it, but there are others out there as well.

 

Be sure to make a visual comparison between the old and new part so you can be sure they're actually the same.

Kenny (goatfarmer) says he has some, so I think getting vintage from him will minimize any compatibility issues.
