So before I went to get the Maytag A4MP the seller sent me a couple pictures of a Maytag wringer he thought Id be interested in. I told him I already had two. He stated he would probably end up scrapping it which I thought a shame but I still wasn't planning on bringing it home.
So after loading the A4MP on the truck he asks if I wanted to look at the wringer as long as Im there. He said he hated the idea of scrapping it and would I like it for scrap price. So it came home along with the automatic. I thought it worth the $55.00 I paid.
Its in nice shape with the original Maytag motor. The drain hose is missing. Will need a new cord.
From info I found on Maytag Collectors Club site the Serial #853941 would put build date somewhere between Oct and Dec 1926. I had sent the pictures the seller sent to me to our fellow member Brad Ross. In his opinion the wringers are from a later Model 30.
Please excuse my finger in the first picture! [this post was last edited: 11/9/2015-17:06]
