I have a Neptune MAH3000AWW that quit the spinn cycle speed.
The bearing made it's "need to be changed noise" more than a year ago. Not been able to make the time to look at it time went by. Then a few months ago it quit spinning. When I finally took the front cover off it had the front loose on one of the screws that hold the bracket. Can't remember which side and if the switch (tub displacement)was touching bottom. It had been a few months operating like this, I have an antique ringer I've been using after each load.
Now, I have replaced the bearings. by not understanding some words in the instructions I used the old style seal on the kit but it seems to be working fine.
I still have two issues:
1.When I torque to 33 ftlbs it does'nt want to turn smothely. I have to loosen the nut on the pully spinner for it to turn by hand.
Am I missing a washe somewhere or what?
2.It still dose not spinn at spinn speed. It goes throug the whole cycle but at regular speed. I tried to jump the switch, tub displacement, with no luck (maybe I didn't do it right).
I would like to know the process or sequence to check that switch, then the other ,then the other and so on. Also could it be in the mother board?
PLZZZZZZ Help. The process with the antique ringer has gotten older than both of us. I would like to keep this machine going.
