Maytag Performa Dishwashers

Anyone have any info on these? How was the washing and the quality compared to regular Maytag dishwashers?

They were ok. I don't think they had filtering, were noisier, and vinyl racks. Budget-priced models with nice feature set.

It is model number PDC3600. My only concern is the purge and one rinse after the main wash on all cycles. My neighbor is giving me first shot on his machine or it's going to the dump. He boight it in 07 and only used it once a week.

I woould not be concerned with the "purge". My personal opinion is in many instances it's being blown out of proportion. I have no problem with bad taste or poorly-rinsed dishes with a purge and final rinse on my Kenmore Elite TallTub. As I've said, this is an excellent dishwasher, part of the last of the real Maytag non talltub design.
