In my neck of the woods. When I started working in SW Houston (before I got transferred to NW Houston), There was a secretary I knew who had a keyboard LK pair and loved them (I've referred to her in a post recent post). She grew up in Cameron. Her mother was the Home Ec teacher at the high school for years. Her washer was a Maytag. Would be cool if that was her washer. She said her mom didn't believe in long agitation wash times, just long soaking periods and then a quick finish of the wash cycle. During the home buying process in preparation for my relocation here January 1986, you have to drive through Cameron to get here. I always thought of my friend and her mom as we would drive through coming and going.
