I am new to buying/using vintage Maytag washers. I am a bit afraid and intimidated by the fact that I have never used one, so I don’t know much about what to look out for when buying. I came across a deal of someone selling a E and a N for $150, it seems to be almost “brand new”, as in it has no dirt, kept clean and works. Now, I live in a state where it’s not popular to have some in working condition or some have the plugs cut off. I have found a few with issues with belt or the hose, but this deaI l had to haggle down a bit.
Anyways,
I wanted to know if this a deal worth pursuing or if I should wait for a better deal.
As well as transport tips, any recommendations on which model to pick, etc.
Also, I only have an SVU, not sure if it’s a good idea to transport flat, but it’s a long drive to grab them.
