Maytag J2 manual

I have a J2 maytag and need to find a repair manual.

Specifically how to remove the wringer arm and how to change the grease.

Can anyone help?

I live secluded in mountains and this machine is vital to me.

Removing Wringer Head

To remove your wringer head, move the wringer control paddel as shown in the drawing (pointing away from the wringers) and lift straight up. Once the 2-3" long drive shaft clears, the head is detached from the washer.

Be aware that the wringer head is heavy. In a properly lubed machine there isn't a problem getting the drive shaft to slide out, but yours may be difficult.
