Maytag WW in Avocado

Seller has three Maytag wringers on offer. Sadly avocado one is severely fouled by something. One wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, but may prove an interesting project for some intrepid soul.

Good 'ol workhorses with great parts availability.

Not a bad idea to have one as a backup if you got a newer washer that doesn't have the best reliability. A comforter won't fit in there but guaranteed to get your wardrobe clean.

Which is why one went with a Maytag wringer, plenty of parts, many NOS are easily sourced.

Gross as that avocado wringer seems it can be scrubbed up and or rebuilt.

Those grotty wringer rollers can be replaced. Aluminum tub cleaned, buffed and polished and rest of machine given a good going over.

I love saving gross appliances and then cleaning, polishing, and getting them functioning and looking like new. The transition hits my dopamine receptors pretty hard.
