Aaron had to lift the washer while Hal pulled it through the door, there was less than an 1/8" gap and after two major earthquakes, my house is not square. You can see he is very proud of himself

All done and relaxed
After the install, we had cocktails and then off to a great Mexican meal You can see everyone is very happy. That is a very heavy washer, we are glad it is in place. We taste tested a variety of cordials and then some 8 year, 18 year and 100 year old whiskeys. Everyone really likes the Jonnie Walker Blue label.

Great pics, Allen. It looks like you guys had a great evening! I wish I had that much good-looking help around when I have to move a machine (or 20) into the house!

i am with everyone else, Funguy.......open the freezer and chill please, Geesh! Although this is an appliance site, i like the site of the cute Bois as well!And the gorgious house and those gorgious floors!! To die for!!! i am Sure that we will see the Miele in all of its Glory, patience always a good thing. I know those machines weigh alot, i had the floors replaced in my laundry space, and had to move the washer and the dryer out plus take off the door to get them out and back in, not an easy task , and i am sure that the Stainless just makes it weigh more than you would expect.......PS, you will love your machine, I love my Miele, if you need any tips, please feel free to e-mail me, congrads!!!!!!----Ritchie

I take it the showroom does`nt demo those large Miele`s built into the cabinets?? Let us know how it fares and what you like about it??

The showroom does have the new large Mieles live and they work very well. I eapecially like the dryer, it is very large and the laundry comes out very fluffy and is amazingly fast. The washer is also cavernous and has all the Miele bells and whistles. It is a 120V unit and more readily usuable in the American laundry. It does heat the water to 170. The Master Care model has some interesting cycles like a special cycle for comforters and beach towels.
I decided to get the 6K now as they are discontinuing it in stainless steel and 220V and I really like the fact that it heats the water to 190.

Congratulations Allen on becoming a Miele owner! I wish you about 40 happy years of washing laundry with it. I love my W1986 and like my W1918. What is this about discontinuing the 220 volt machine? Do you mean that they are just discontinuing the TOL stainless 220 volt machine OR are you saying that they are discontinuing the 220 volt washers? I hope not.
