I think this was certainly worth the effort of reading: Now I actually understand what on earth was different about the Dark Garments/Denim cycle... Except, those "long rinses" should also be followed by more than a short pulse spin to 800rpm to ensure adequate detergent removal. I have similar gripes with Minimum Iron, but the higher rinsing levels negate this quite a bit.
