Hello all!

I'm trying to help a customer plan a few properties out and am wondering the power requirements on this dryer?

One part on the site says Single phase 208 volts while further down the page it says Single Phase 208-240 volts.

Will they need a transformer or will they be ok with normal wiring?

I could email tech but I am not exactly sure if I will be the one purchasing the set for my customer or if they will be ordering it from a larger place.

Any help is always appreciated!

LG Dryer

When I was researching for myself, the dryer was indeed 208v +/- 10%.
A transformer was required.

Once I priced out the transformer + electrician + compact sized dryer, it was a no go for me. YMMV...

You don't need a transformer. If you have a standard 208 dryer outlet you will be fine.
The 208-240 is the min/max that can be used to operate the unit. It depends on the power grid. Some may run as low as 208, others (like in europe) may be up to 240.

You should check with Miele of course.

I got three different responses from tech support from Miele, on top of the installers from the Miele gallery I visited this week weren't sure either... :/ They said they don't move many of those units....

With that said.... I don't know what kind of trick photography Miele has going on but the little giant washer/dryer pair is tiny.... ... Like two american microwaves stacked on each other...

I'm almost positive if I put a bit of thought into it, I could carry both units home in my MKX....

Thankfully I don't have 4.5k sitting around to buy the floor model set from this store... ;)
