....I had in Marietta, GA had that same range.
If you had to choose between a root canal and cleaning the range, the root canal would win, hands down.

I take it the oven is not self cleaning? What brand is the stove, please? $1500 is a lot for those. I would be surprised if any one of them cost much more than $500 new, especially the microwave.
