I love this style of DC. I have two. One needs some work and one is in great shape. They just keep right on working away and seem fairly easy to work on.

Watch this guy!

He posts pictures that make the appliances look far nicer than they are! I've been burned by this guy. I suspect he swaps machines with ones in worse condition than the ones on display and delivers pieces of garbage after he takes your money.

I bought those same machines in 1996 and I could kick myself for getting rid of them. I thought I had to have a front loader. I hope I can find some in good shape someday, but a lot of stuff that turns up here on craigslist is trashed

Rob,  If this crook took your money and gave you a machine that isn't worth a damn report him.  That is theft by swindle and is a criminal offence.  Also, not to preach to anyone but I don't give any CL seller money until I see that the product is what was repersented in the add. 

P.S.  The Avocado KM set is safe and sound.
