Mirro Matic percolator

Hello all!

One of my friends gave me this percolator today. It belonged to her parents. It works perfectly given its age. Does anyone have any ideas on how to polish it up and make it shiny again?

There are special polishes for aluminum. Flitz and Mother's are two I know of.
