That would be an LAT8650BAW.  The 10 character model numbers on Maytags came into use in about 1991.  This system replaced the older A806 or A712 type of model number.

 

Here's the decode:

L=Domestic Laundry

A=Automatic Washer

T=Top loading, non-suds saver

8650=actual model number

B=B series

A=120 volts, 60 cycles, US electric code compliant

B=Black Control Panel

 

That particular machine came from what was often referred to as the "1990" series because it was introduced in 1990.  It replaced the "12" series machines.  The "1990" series machine were made from 1990-1993.  The series that followed was made from 1994-1996 and is often referred to as the "square panel Dependable Care".

looks like it was leaking from around bleach line any ideas on how to repair it has a oval port doesn't look like a clamp would seal all the way round

DAMN! That machine is CLEAN!  You did VERY WELL!

Put a new hose clamp on it.  Less than $2 at the hardware store.
