Now here's something you don't see everyday. I cannot imagine this would be something to use regularly with any happy results…but what a UNICORN! Can't decide what your favorite appliance is? Well here's everything but the fridge in one lump.

Located near Lassen Park, CA….it's a schlep for most anyone…but if you want a scarcity in your collection, these might be the people to ring…

Wow - I've never seen a gas version of the Modern Maid!   These were not exactly popular here in the far north, but the electric version was featured as a grand prize on the Canadian game show "Password".

I like the gap between the cabinets and the Modern Maid Monster as if the cabinets don't want to be associated with it. That DW might have had the high temp wash setting which made it a pretty good cleaner. I am glad to see that they know how to load bowls in the lower rack. I used to see so many people with D&M machines load bowls between the rows of pins so that they faced the front of the machine and took up so much extra room.

Can you imagine what a nightmare hooking this up would be? Gas, power, hot water, drain. There's a range hood sitting on top of the unit, but it does not appear to be vented. If you chose to vent a hood - there's yet another connection to make.
Ugh.

seen many of these, mainly in mobile homes......even seen the dishwasher mounted under the sink.....but usually in compact situations.....this kitchen looks large enough for a separate stove and dishwasher......seems someone found a combo unit and made it work for them.....

and usually it was a special dishwasher for the install, the top section was lowered to accommodate the sink/cooktop.....

Probably the first (and likely only) time I've seen a range like this with the burner controls next to the upper ovens. With gas ones it's usually in front of or next to the burners.

What is it with people not putting their ranges right next to the cabinets? I see this a lot in older houses. Are they trying to make it easier to clean between them? Seems like it would be awkward when cooking to have that gap there.
