Monitor Laundry Twins

A few days ago Robert posted a rather fascinating brochure featuring the Monitor Laundry Twins. I had never heard of or seen these before. Initially I though maybe they were English or Australian machines, but after looking through the brochure it is clear that they were made in America for an American market.

Does anyone have experience with these? The washer looks like it could work OK, but that dryer defies logic!

How very curious.

Have about three different version of the Monitor washer, including the one pictured in the recently posted pamphlet.

Also, several years ago, I had the opportunity to buy the dryer featured in the pamphlet, but passed it up. I've regretted that one many times!
