More things PINK! Hoovers in particular...

So, this is my Model 85 Constellation. I've had it without attachments for about 4 years.

Then...

I saw its rug nozzle on eBay, with a $20 buy it now.. and I did. It came today, and completed my machine!!! Yay!

Then I thought...

More things should be pink. I had to go get the matching Convertible out of my basement, and have them both pose for some glam shots...

These are hanging on my bedroom wall... The model 65 Convertible and the model 85 Constellation.

If only...

If only I had that apron that was appearing in photos a few months back... I could put it on and pose, using the machines.

They sure look nice don't they. I'm also on the lookout for the some attachments for both mine, the salmony pink one and the blue one.
Those ads are great, love how they make the convertible look like a car, then nothing like getting all dressed in your suit and best for the Constellation.

Great pics - congrats on getting the tools for your Connie. I've never seen a floor nozzle like that before - is it convertible to another use? The Pink Pair look awesome together, you'll have to make a stage for them with their ads now! Sorry you couldn't make it down for the gathering at Fred's, maybe next time.

What color apron would you like? I see them all the time at sales and have several hanging around the laundry rooms. I should send one to Fred to use with his Maytag wringer washer, lest the front of his housedress gets shmutzy!

Congratulations Fred...that model 85 is certainly BEAUTIFUL machine, and in pink no less!! I bet she purrs quietly too like a Connie should!!

I've seen many pink Connies on eBay, but I don't think I've seen this one, with the chrome Constellation logo below the "Hoover", before. The wheeled floor nozzle is definitely my favorite, mainly because of the cool section of hose between the nozzle and hose fitting.

Glad she's complete again! Love the pink Convertible too...does this mean they're a matched set?

Austin, they are matched for 1958, in Heather Rose and Pearl white with silver trim.
The model 65 Convertible is a classic.
The 85 Connie is a unique one, the last machine with the hose connection on top, and the only Connie with the cord wrap "ears" on its sides.
