I was just looking at all the posts i have seen and responded to just by you starting this new format. You have truly opened up doors just beyond a classic forum.

I really am impressed with the way your organization has made this forum so much more exciting and open beyond belief.

You have made something for everyone,...you still have the collectors and you made so much for us who do not collect for whatever reason to still be a part of people who love/like appliances.

Would i be welcome to come this spring,...you my man and so many of you i would like to meet.

Pat

LOL! An 8 track!

Kenny- But do you have the player to play it??

There was a good movie made in the seventies starring Burt Reynolds all about 8 tracks and if I remember right there were two black vans chasing him around trailer parks the whole movie. He thought they were the bad guys but it turned out they were just on holiday with their sleek black vans and 8 tracks.

I think we may someday end up rivalling THS because we are much more graphic here at Applianceville.

Hi Pat, welcome, of you course you are welcome, I hope you can make it to the convention.

THS and Applianceville are two completely different animals. We both average about the same amount of posts monthly, but our focus is quite a bit different. I sort of see them as next door neighbors in "Applianceworld".

8-tracks

I have a large collection of 8-tracks, and home recorder-players and car and portable players. When Radio Shack dis-continued blank cartridges, I cleaned out several stores stock of them. Also have some of the cassette/8-track adapter cartridges, FM Stereo cartridge adapters (early Chrysler and Ford factory 8-track players were AM only), and even a CB adapter for 8-track (though it only broadcasts and receives on 1 channel)
