Hello everyone,

In October 2012, I was filmed for a pre-school (under 5) children's show here in Oz just prior to the opening of the 'Collectomania' exhibition.

Finally, the episode went to air this morning, which is all about 'Collections'.

If you don't think you can watch the introduction of the program (considering it is a children's show), my segment starts at 6.50.

The difference between this and the other TV show about 'Collectomania' is 'Wurrawhy' is a national show, not just state based.

Oh...and if you're wondering why my Kelvinator sign and Frigidaire lightbox are all 'fuzzed' out, here in Australia pre-school shows are governed by the 'Pre-school association' and TV shows can't be 'seen' to 'influence' a child with regards to 'branding': just a bit too 'PC' if you ask me, especially when some of these brands haven't existed for a number of years.

Cheers
Leon

Wonderful!

Aside from the minor fact the clip was altered to fit a Children's program, I still think they did a good job showcasing your collection quickly.

Good to see you are showcasing this hobby as something people do take a part in, and its not something that is "silly" or "weird."

Certainly wishing you all the best in the future with your collection AND that you are able to showcase it more often on programming suited for those in adult years :-)

Take care!

Congrats. My debut was in original Hawaii 5-O, as a member of a crowd shot from behind at a distance. Even *I* can't find myself in the shot. But I'm there and I got paid for it.
