Bought this for $14.92 (plus the lid for another $7.99) from the CorningWare online store during their Columbus Day sale.
It might look something from an estate sale at a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and made in the 1920s but it's really a brand new Pyroceram casserole made in France by ARC International and sold by World Kitchen. It's light for its size (Pyroceram is like that) and produced a dynamite oven frittata on its maiden voyage from the stovetop to the oven in traditional CorningWare fashion.
I'll admit it. I'm a Pyroceram junkie.
