As I wrote earlier, I got laid off of my bartending job at the Moose Lodge in Yelm, WA. Today was such a great day!! Lots of people came out to wish me well, and two gals went and bought an ice cream cake with "We Love You" on it. I received a $50 tip from one couple, and lots of tips from the rest. I have such support from these people, and they are fighting to get me re-hired. I can't tell you how much it meant to find out how many friends and supporters I have out there. I have some great friends, and good patrons. Please, wish me well. I hope to have my job back soon!

Isn't that an awesome feeling....

being appreciated for the work you do, ecspecially a job like bar tending which requires a person to have a memory of a computer (for mixing drinks properly), the diplomacy of Henry Kissinger (so the drunk you just 86'd doesn't poke you in the snout) and the paitence of Dear Abby and her sister Ann Landers (to listen to all the folks cryin' in their beer) also the tolerance of Job (to be able to put up with the obnoxious drunks whose gums flap more times a second than a humming birds wings) and the speed of the Roadrunner (to keep the patrons glasses full when the bar is crowded). I know as much as I like working around and with people your job is one I could not do because I don't have the right amount of all the things listed above.....so I tip my hat to you in a jesture of admiration and hope that your friends win the fight and get ya rehired good luck......PAT COFFEY
