My New ABC dryer arrived on Wednesday

I everyone, I am so excited! I bought a 1954 ABC-O-Matic gas dryer from Lighted console. It is in great shape and when I get to the basement to do some cleaning on it it will be even better. The timer is mechanical,(no electricity to it)and works like a champ. They sure don't build them like this anymore, very heavy. I will have to get some pictures and post them here but I wanted to let you all know that I have it now and will get it set up soon. Thanks Lighted Console. Abcomatic, (Gary)

Is this a dream dryer for you? Congrats on the new baby and we'd love to see pics when you get them to post. I'll bet the clothes are nice and soft coming out of it!

This is the dream dryer for me, and thanks for the comment. I sure hope I can get an ABC-o-matic washer to go with it. I'll get those pictures and soon. Gary

I remember that the one with the controls on top that we pulled up the basement stairs of the donor was very heavy.
