I'd like to see how nice your shirt looked when you were finished. Seeing that turquoise Hoover Model 68 in the background reminds me that sometime I need to ask you to give mine a spa treatment.

Enjoy your new ironrite, Fred. It is a real beauty and, IMHO, their very best model. You'll be cranking out table linens by the mile and dress shirts by the closet-full in no time at all.
. . . . I don't suppose it came with a spare heating element???? Mine went south a few months ago and I've had to resort to the unspeakable drudgery of a hand iron every since.
A bit of unsolicited advice – Might I suggest that you replace the power cord with one that is grounded and/or be sure to refrain from operating the machine with bare legs on a humid day. I had a definitely negative learning experience many years ago doing just that!
Iron-RITE or don't iron at all!

Ironrite Spare Heating Element
Have got one somewhere in my stash, though NIB haven't bothered since my current unit works fine. Am holding onto it just in case and or need to see if it will work in other ironers as well.
IIRC there was someone (Ironrite Man in Alaska?) who sold and or replaced heating elements. One had to remove the cast iron shoe and send the whole lot out, but he did use new elements not old stock. It might be worth a try to contact appliance repair stores with the information regarding the heater part. It might just be an easily swapped out "Calrod" or similar off the shelf replacement.

I had one of those!, when I moved I let Jerry Gay have it and he does ALL his ironing on it, It really is easy once you get used to it, Shirts look professionally done!
