My new ZZZZZZZZZZ

Here is my new Hoover Z...a very cool vac with lots of glitz...It seems to clean very well with lots of suction. They were closed out at a very reasonable price so I grabbed one down at the employee sales center. My main complaint with it is the weight. I like the features and it grooms the carpet very well. I think I may just keep this one in my collection and continue using my Hoover Convertible.

My Hoover Z 700

very well satisfied with it as it works great as an upright and a canister. but like everyone has said it is heavy but on my low pile carpets it almost seems like it's self-propelled but I know it isn't

Despite the many naysayers across vacuum cyberspace, I LOVE the look and idea of the Z, but did not buy simply because I have long, narrowish rooms with a fair amount of furniture, and, like the Dyson, there are better choices for that situation...

Let us know what you think of the self-cleaning filter! Besides the weight, that's the biggest beef I've heard, besides the fact that many don't love the cord storage setup.

They were all scooped up at discount around here....

It is supposed to do a bang-up job on medium-pile carpet and on bare floors, which might justify the price and weight for a lot of people.

Hey Tom,

Congrats on the new toy! I'm curious on how the self cleaning filter works too. Now you have 2 new Hoover uprights I'm going to have to try.
