As promised (some time ago!) here are some pictures of my recently acquired Zanussi Z9191T. Hope you enjoy them!

One of my favourite drum designs ever. No plastic drum paddles here, and you can see the new door seal which I have fitted!

A close up of the dial. The message about lining up the dial correctly for the spin is to prevent damage to the clutch pulley which is attached to that lovely quiet induction motor.

Three speeds are achieved using three gears; tumble speed, 500rpm spin and 1000rpm spin. There are no electronics whatsover in this machine!

Finally, a close up of the programme chart. Lot's of options on this very solid machine. Hope you enjoyed the pics, I'll take some of the machine running very soon, I might even be able to get some videos sorted if anyone wants them!

Tom.

looks superb Tom.

really great to know that a Z-series is in good hands. condition looks fantastic and the pictures you attached are now on my computer to be filed in my Zanussi folder.

I for one would definately be intereseted to see and hear some videos. living with brush machines all my life, until very recently, i have never heard a 1980s induction machine before.

smart looking machines those Z-series - the appliance of science.

Beautiful!

Thats one fine machine! Its the same layout i'm used too, with some differences! My auntie had the WDI9091. The programes are identical! The lettering was slightly different since "L" was drying and i remember "X" was a short spin! I would love to see it in action! Obviously if you ever get bored of it feel free to send it up north!!

Congratulations on what looks like a great machine.

Our neighbour had exactly that same machine only theirs had the decor trim on the bottom. It was so quiet and fairly sturdy. I remember it spinning anti clockwise.

Looking through old photographs, I just noticed my step dad used to have the exact same machine as yours! Will have to dig it out again, and scan it in!

Tom!
