I got a new index slide

for my girls wringer washer got it installed and seems to be working good now I
need to to get some information about how & where oil & grease need to go and any other tips & or hints that all you nice helpful people are willing to share let me say thank you in advance & have a wonderful day

You found the index slide, can't do much without it.
What do you think needs to be oiled?
You can smear some Vaseline on the agitator post to keep the agitator from sticking.

Here's a copy from my manual of serial number ... your machine was manufactured in May, 1967.

Re. greasing ... further to Stan's comment, if there's no obvious sign of displacement of gear box lubricant down the wringer leg (the usual location), and there's no sound of "stress" when it's running, there should be no need to be concerned. Have a look underneath at the horizontal drive for the wringer to see if grease has leaked out of the small port that's located on the top of the tube.

The ball bearings at each end of the upper wringer roll should be oiled with 3-in-1 every so often, and also the casters, to keep them freely rolling. And as Stan mentioned, the agitator post should be coated lightly with Vaseline to enable easy removal of the agitator. That's it!
