Hi all,
My name is Jack and I am a teenager from Pittsburgh. I need some help identifying this GE fridge. It looks to be from the early 60s (I have a soft spot for mid century stuff as evidenced by my Magnavox stereo console). Anyhow, it has been in my family since before I was born. My grandmother used to run the YMCA swim team booth at the Clearfield County Fair in the 80s and that fridge was the one in the booth. I guess they bought it to use as a garage fridge when the swim team got a new fridge. They moved to the Outer Banks and my parents got it for our garage. That fridge has moved to four different houses since the 80s. It was in rough shape since it’s been in the garage so long but works great. I decided I was going to restore/ deep clean it since it probably has some monetary value besides it looking cool. It was originally white, but I painted it aqua. I want to know what the year is on this and any other information (maybe a brochure)? I can’t find anything online so I figured maybe you all could help. Thanks! Jack
