Need help ordering pump from Europe...

I've been trying to order this pump with no luck. When I try to "checkout" it tells me to phone a number which seems to go to a private residence. The company name is Ricampro in Spain.

Maybe I don't even have to order from them, but they were the only company that I could find that seemed to have the exact model.

Anyone able to help?

Could be the website is set up to detect out of area orders

Have seen this when trying to order various parts or supplies for European laundry equipment in my collection.

As for the call being routed to what seems someone's home shouldn't let that worry; many people run things out their homes or a shop attached/part of same.

If you could tell us, which European machine it is from, then maybe some of us Euro based guys could point you in the right direction!

Sure...

It's a Merloni made machine. I found it on a local classified listing. The guy that sold it to me said it was found in a storage place. It is a top load H axis I picked up 6 months ago. The brand name is Fust Novamatic 40.1. With a little looking, I found out that this is a house brand from an electronics store in Switzerland.

Maybe someone can tell me what one of the "option" buttons is for. Left to right would be...no spin, middle one 1/2 load...and the last one I can't figure out what that would be.

Merloni had a good number of brands so it is possible the pump was used in other machines.

Thanks to Laundress...and her research skills, I have found the pump through Partsmaster.

Apparently, as suggested by Richard, the front separates from the back. So I only need the back (electrical) part.

Thanks all! Now I can keep this unusual (for North America) machine going for now.

A couple of suggestions for button number 3

It could be for a soak but I think its more likely to be for Rinse Hold where the programme stops during the final rinse before drain and final spin - its supposed to help prevent creasing when you are not around to empty the machine as soon as its finished. When the button is released it should continue on to the end of the cycle

Moral of the story is....

Just as in the United States European appliance spares can be had from virtually hundreds of vendors "off the shelf" as it were. Trick is knowing what to look for and where which can be daunting for those outside of EU.

Unlike North America for instance where Miele pretty much has a lock on spares, you can go to almost any parts place in Europe and get things right off the shelf or Internet. This often at much better prices than Miele. If you know what you are doing you don't have to go with Miele branded parts either and that can save some money.

The appliance DIY world is just as great if perhaps not a bit larger in Europe as the USA. As we've seen from YouTube videos there are several enterprising "amateurs" that could run circles around so called "trained" Miele and other appliance techs.

I ordered a new boot for my Miele from the UK, it's not genuine Miele but fit like a glove and was a fraction of the cost even with shipping!

You could even change just the motor....no need for whole pump, less weight less shipping $$
