Need New Refrigerator No More Than 68” High

Asking for a friend...old one apparently is toast.

I bought a Frigidaire #FFTR1821TW 18 cu.ft model less than a year ago for $499. It is 68" high and 30" wide[this post was last edited: 5/30/2019-17:10]

The Sears website has options where you can restrict by width, height or depth.  Of course I would double-check with the manufacturer spec sheet as well.

 

There seems to be plenty of options under 70".

The only way to know for sure, is to take your own tape measure, and make the rounds of your local appliance dealers and big box stores.

We went through a similar exercise a few years back when our fridge died. Found out the hard way that ours was an incredibly oddball size, and the prior homeowners had built the cabinets too tight around it for any "normal" fridge to fit. We went through everyone's websites, but ultimately, their dimensions and selection tools are just too varied and vague in how measurements are made. Especially when it comes to things like protruding hinges, handles, and door swing clearances.
