davy1063, that's AWESOME!!
that is one beautiful machine! Just when did Frigidaire start using the plastic agitators (jet cones etc) instead of the rubber ones? When we moved to California in 1976 the house my parents bought came with a Frigidaire, it was an older one, and real basic. I remember it just had a dial for the load size and the main dial had like a 14 min wash that was hot water, 10 min wash that was warm and 8 min wash that was cold water, that's how you chose the temp. It had no cover on the agitator, and no 'rings' just the rubber pump part. I have never seen any pic's of a model like it, but have seen the agitator in some pic's here on AWO and it seemed to be around a 1958 model! When I got my 1977 1-18 a year or so ago, i was dissapointed to learn it had the plastic jet cone and not the rubber three ring nor the solid tub...but I still love it!
Thanks- James
