I found this Kitchen Aid portable dishwasher I like.
I have 2 pics of it, it looks really nice and well cared for, I think it is a KDS18 Superba, but I am not sure.
I am hoping to find out a model, and also is this worth going after?
Also what do you think a fair price to offer would be? The seller is asking $150 which I think is a little steep.

NOPE! Close to but not an 18!

This is a KDS 19 portable unit. It has the plastic blower housing secured in place by that small screw on the right rear of the tank.
No heated dry and really no option to add it, though I did and it made for one of the best drying dishwashers I ever had!(I still have all the parts needed to do the conversion)

It washes great and while not a real favorite among Kitchenaid owners, It has its devotees!
It was ahead of its time with trying to conserve energy by allowing the owner to turn down their hot water heaters to 120 degrees and left the heating of the water up to the machine.
The price is very steep but it looks really well cared for.
If nothing else, since the parts for it like the timer are really gone, now, you can always part it out and make back your investment or keep it as your daily driver.
I would strongly suggest adding additional acoustic insulation to it as it was not very quiet.

looks nice

if you buy it and you need any pump parts they are still available thru hobart or other sources. i have 2 of these models and all i have ever had to do was replace the pump seals! we can help you here in any repair you might have to do.

i think i gave 50 for one of mine and i think 175.00 for the other. i have found the going prices for kitchenaids are between 50 and 200 bucks, at least that is what i have always paid.

have fun with it!

I think I am going to call and offer $75 for it, If they accept my offer, it will sit next to the Frigidaire Flair in the kitchen down in the cellar and be used primarily to clean jars when I am canning in that kitchen.

It may get a promotion!

You may find it does such a great job even on the short cycle, that you may want it as a daily driver and being a portable it makes it easy to switch between machines.Would be a real waste to relegate it to a second string machine

Good Luck

I think this is the same KA DW which is on craigslist, and its down in Uniontown. I called the number listed, and also replied via Email and never got a response.

It would be great of you can snag that DW
