Neptune noise

Greetings...need info regarding my Neptune. Within the past few months, it has developed a "squeaking" noise.
Is it possible the belt needs replaced? So far, it has been faultless...guess I'm fortunate from some of the info i've seen and heard about them. Actually, very pleased w/ the machine, Maytag Super Stack.
If anyone has any info to offer...be much appreciated ! !

Does it squeak when it reverses direction? If so, a belt kit will solve the problem. The belt is a bit loose and there is no belt adjustment. The new belt kit has 2 motor isolators that go on the studs of the motor to keep the belt taut. Part# is 12001788. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your respone ! ! Indeed it seems worse when reversing...getting MUCH worse latley. I'm guessing replacing the belt isn't a big deal, huh?..something that I may be able to do?? Not above giving it a shot.
