Two more of my grandmother’s small electric appliances. I have used this electric tea kettle, daily for over twenty five years. I was most likely forty or so years old when I inherited it. Works like a charm. Made by Nesco it heats very quickly. It pours nicely with the spout design. Have never seen another like it. I have a more modern electric tea kettle but really prefer this little guy.

Saladmaster Jet-O-Matic percolator, actually sounds like a jet when I’m action. Joe likes strong coffee and this really fills the bill. I am not much of a coffee drinker and when I do I’m not a strong brew affectionato. Joe in the other hand prefers a stronger brew and sometimes the drip machine didn’t cut it for him. I pulled this out of storage two years ago and it’s become yet another of my grandmother’s appliances put to daily use. The insert has holes small enough to accept the drip grind coffee and the pot also or course keeps the coffee at a perfect temp.

Thanks Fisher…. Sorry for all of the weird typos on the post…I was using a hand held and was not able to edit the post. At any rate, I’m always amazed at the workmanship and pride taken in the manufacture of vintage appliances.

Interesting little electric tea pot; I've never seen one before. It sort of matches the famous Nesco Fry Ryte deep fryer. My neighbors the McLaughlin's had one of those fryers.

My Aunt Eloise &Uncle TW had a Jet-O-Matic coffee maker. I well remember the sound it made.

Hey Circle, that Tea Ryte indeed does resemble a Fry Ryte fryer. I had a Fry Ryte and used it a good deal over the years, I dropped it right before I moved from Atlanta and it was damaged to the point of no return. Was sick about it, as it really had a good thermostat and the rectangular basket was perfect for French fries.

Yep, that Jet-O-Matic was in full swing this morning. That distinctive jet sound was also in full swing.

Nesco!

I have a Fry Ryte and a electric double boiler , both with the clear control in the end of the handle, I would love to find the tea and the coffee maker.
