I'm sorry, Tide Simply Clean & Fresh. Looked at detergent at Shoppers Fools' Warehouse and saw yellow jugs of this new cheap Tide on the shelves far away from the jugs of real Tide. Has anyone see this product? It is not marked HE, let alone Turbo. None of the very few real TIDE containers that were HE were Turbo.

I've tried it

It's been in Pennsylvania for a good while now. P and G says it has 2x's the baking soda power to target tough odors, no pretreating nessasary, and is compatible with HE and standard washers. I have a standard top loader and it sudzed (is that a word lol) up a lot.and IMO the smell was horrid.I didn't know there was a lemon scented one but as much as I would like a lemon detergent I wouldn't buy the simply clean again. Wonder if p&g left the enzymes out when the put all that baking soda in..lol

I've been through a few bottles of this now, one just went into the recycle bin Wednesday. I never tried it in an HE washer, just in the various top loaders in the garage. It worked fine for rags, the dog's bedding and the like. There are two scents, the daybreak whatever was horrid but the fresh breeze was OK.

that's

What p&g's web site says about tide simply clean...I didn't pay a lot of attention but I don't think there's any enzymes in it so fo 8-9 dollors may as well buy a huge jug of sun for 5..just MHO..unless I'm wrong and there is enzymes. .but OTOH not every load needs enzymes. Have a good one
