new dishwasher

I'm putting up with our 15 year old GE Profile until it dies. The dishes always get clean. The only issue is I have to add two tall glasses of hot water before starting, and for the main wash, and sometimes the first rinse. If the tap water isn't hot enough, the dispenser won't sump the detergent after the first pre wash. Otherwise the pump cavitates. I replaced the fill valve a few years ago. The thin hose to the tub looked fine, so it's a mystery. Why spend a grand when we only use it every 7 days?

I have the F&P double dish drawer. The two independent drawers work great and hold a fair bit of crockery etc. I have a second full size Bosch dishwasher in the laundry room. I thought I would need to use it over Christmas as we had friends over but two dish drawers managed big loads easily.

"Dishhh-draaawer"... remember the ads? I always loved the idea of those, but have heard they're not super reliable. I would hope they used silicone hoses for all that flexing when they're opened and closed. I had a F&P bottom mount in my last place in PA. Loved it, apart from the loud cracking it sometimes made when it cycled.
