Daughter dropped; didn't have the foresight to snatch it from her (she brought it from the kitchen counter to the bedroom then dropped it in the hallway returning it to its proper location) & I was too forgiving to have dealt any sort of punishment ('cept to myself running around hunting high & low for one like it for sale in my area & still having more ground to cover!)... The damage from the fall: first the base came off, but then after setting it, it lost its "Ding!"; the dent on the face is from an ill-attempted self-repair...
