Welcome!

Tyler-

Welcome to the group! Like you, I love Frigidaires from the 60s and 70s. Not long after I started following this site, one of my dream machines popped up on craigslist near me. I snatched it up and later its matching dryer. They're both working great and are lots of fun.

Thanks for all the well wishes! I do not have a lot of knowledge concerning vintage Frigidaire washers and dryers....My grandparents and parents always had these in our homes when I was growing up! I am open to information, advice on Frigidaire washers/dryers from the 1960's & 1970's.

Welcome Tyler

You're in the right place. You'll be able to get lots of help here. When I was 9 years old 1962 my mom got a Frigidaire Custom Imperial set in Coppertone that she had bought from my sister. It was neat to watch. She also had a brand new Maytag Wringer Washer E2LP. We lived on a farm with a well, so to conserve water she would wash a load of good clothes in the Frigidaire and then pump the wash water into the wringer to do the rest of the wash. The good old days. I have a 1976 Frigidaire 1-18 rollermatic in my collection.
