Many thanks to Todd(washerlover) for his generosity and willingness to wait for shipping for me to be the new caretaker of some of his great collection. I’m very happy to be the new owner of these machines and wanted to post some pictures for the archives. But mainly to thank Todd.

First the great Norge built Montgomery Wards washer.

(Don’t look Ralph the images may cause flash backs.)

Thanks everyone. Yes Glenn the Kenmore has the full quiet pack system including the skinny belt. Mark I hope your shipment from Todd arrives safely. Cheers to Todd’s retirement!

Nice saves, Melvin! Love all three, especially the Wards set! The GE is a '67 C model, with the dead giveaway of the blue tones used throughout the new control panel design for that model year. The 844 appears to be a variation of the 840 with the speed and temp selections from the lighted panel 850 and a bleach dispenser.

And yes, a huge thank you to Todd for his generosity and patience on waiting for shippers to arrive. The solid tub Norge arrived this Monday!

Ben

Thanks everyone. I promise to take good care of them. Thanks for the info Ben and can’t wait to see the Norge restoration. John L has close to the same one at the museum.
