Been having a lot of newspaper issues. It started when the Tampa Times bought Tampa Tribune. It wasn't big deal at first. But then one newspaper in our town bought out the other. They said we would no longer get Tampa Times with it. Our neighbor bought the paper and passed on to us. Very nice to do so. He decided to cancel it because no more Tampa paler which is understandable.

But now we no longer get any sales circulars either as they all came in the paper. I'm not sure we would even get them anymore if we still got the paper.

They also took away all newspaper boxes at the street corners.

I started using the classifieds on their website to look for estate and yard sales. But I looked yesterday and a note stated all content would be for subscribers only after December.

I wonder what's with all the changes? Anyone else having this happen?

Merging

news papers has been a trend since the late 80's, early 90's.
Then the internet has made online publication easier and cheaper than home delivery. Also other advertising media like facebook, Etsy, Craigslist.
Indeed.com, etc. for employment opportunities.
