The comparable model new lists for about $1000. In addition to Raywall, it is also sold under the Markel brand.
I currently am using a Berko 4000 watt electric wall heater, and when necessary, a Markel 4000 watt portable heater. This is in an approximately 1500 sq. ft. basement. I'm not currently heating the upstairs, which is mostly unfinished space at this time. Originally I was using a Berko 4800 watt unit in the basement, but it was struck by lightning, which burned the thermostat wire off. I still have it, but haven't fixed it yet. I had the 4000 watt unit upstairs, so installed it in the basement. It is somewhat expensive to heat with these, and in addition, makes the air very dry.
These heaters are good for spaces that don't have central heat, such as a basement. Also nice in a garage, where building codes don't allow ductwork from a furnace to extend into.
