Beautiful Range in Beautiful Condition
The oven does not look like the pilot was ever lighted. The stove does not even look like it was used. Pilot lights often tend to leave a film of corrosion on the porcelain. It's the acidic fumes that also destroy chimneys. It is now code here that if you replace a gas water heater that vents into a brick chimney that you have to put a stainless steel flue liner in to help ensure that fumes are not leaking out through the old brick and mortar construction. It costs between $1500 and $2000.
