At least the
starting bid is reasonable.
However, some of the "fine" print is enough to make a person leery, especially the stuff about positive feedback (Feedback on eBay can be suspect, but still...)
I hope whomever gets it loves it, however.

A RESERVE price??
Phrases like "operated like a dream" should be taken with a grain of dishwasher detergent when they are combined with phrases like "internal spinner mechanism". The machine itself looks good, but the seller scares me a little too. Lots of flowery language around this auction that for all intents and purposes simply says "you don't like it, screw you". Love the positive feedback rule too - that should be against Ebay rules.

Drop Deal (Dead?) Auctions
This is obviously a commercial reseller using Ebay on behalf of it's customers - not a bad business venture, if run properly and handles shipping, receiving and payments. That's probably the reason form the excessive pros, lack of information and number of conditions. I think I would have left the posted question alone, though.
Still, it's a nice Imperial and if it was still an occupled house probably does work. We'll see where the bidding goes.

Cannot believe someone had the nerve to send the seller such a query/statement. Quite uncalled for IMHO, as the auction is obviously run by an business venture set up as an third party eBay seller of goods. One sees these sort of businesses quite often these days, and they are becoming a good way for many peopole to earn a decent living. Considering some of the stunts many eBay buyers pull, the "rules" are not unreasonable. Seller is laying out the rules beforehand so potential buyers know what is expected of them, and more importantly cannot go crying to eBay/their credit card company/PayPal whinging on about how they were some how wronged.

Though didn't log in to read the entire question and response, whomever sent the query ought to be more careful about such actions in future. Not sure but think that sort of "question" comes more under harrassment rather than a legitimate query regarding an ongoing auction. Such actions if reported to eBay could not bode well for the sender of such a question.

They are a little strong but they have probably been burned.
I do a lot on eBay and over the past few years I have had to post some "rules" that I hate doing but you really have to, to protect yourself. Some folks do some really crappy things.
I posted (twice, the same guy!!!) a cell phone that was popular. I had a guy with no feedback use the Buy It Now option and send me a bad check. Twice. It cost me $10 in return charges. Apparantly this is a common practice to remove competing auctions. I guess people open and close eBay and bank accounts very often and pull this kind of stuff all the time. While I am waiting for his check to come my auction is "off the market" so to speak.
It would have cost more to fight it than to just pay the charge and chalk it up to experience. I have had to resort to reserving the right to reject bids for no or negative feedback. I hate to do it but I have been forced to.
