Great looking set!

They seem like they were pretty high-end machines.
Did Kitchen Aid build their washers and dryers, or were they built by someone else, like how Whirlpool built Kenmore?
Do the Kitchen Aid washers/dryers have a good reputation?
Just curious. It seems like you don't see a lot of them.

This pair was built by Whirlpool.  I believe Kitchenaid was Whirlpool Corp.'s TOL brand.
