Westinghouse really built a superior product back then.A much better insulated range than a lot of what was on the market.

Ahh outside of Austin--in the area where the huge fires were Labor Day 2011. I had a range like that in an apartment summer of 1974 in college, except the two back burners were raised up just a bit over the two front one.

The "Step Top"

Or as Westinghouse called it the Terrace Top, which was basically the same as this except for the top, was a great range, My hometown was full of them , due to the fact we had two Westinghouse dealers.
