What is this??? Nobody answers my questions!!! I was wondering how to take that damn grey cover off the door of my WP Duet??? Please let me know.... PS Nobody has last responded to my last messages either... You should....Bill in Az....

Perhaps, since this is a site devoted primarily to vintage washers, and the Duet is not a vintage washer, nobody here (who has yet read your message) knows how to remove the gray door cover.

I know that I don't know. Sorry.

Perhaps look up the model at Sears Parts Store online. The diagram may give you an idea how to remove the panel. It may simply snap off.

Or Google it. There are all kinds of appliance repair sites out there. That's what I do if I don't know something. We gotta do everything for you?

It could be that since this question belongs in the Deluxe section,the people who gravitate alot into this Super section don't know.

Bill, this subject has been dealt with in the past on the Laundry Forum at gardenweb.com Unfortunately, it's been quite a while and isn't in the archives anymore. But you can post a question there and will get some answers. Bob

My advice

I hope I don't sound petty, but if you have a question about a modern washer, you'll probably have better luck posting your question in the "deluxe" forum. I would bet since "Super" is an off topic forum, a lot of www.automaticwasher.org users (being only interested in washers and dryers) don't even look at it. A lot of people are posting questions about washers, dryers, and dishwashers in the "Super" forum lately, and it's getting kind of cluttered down here.

You have to take the door off the hinge, then take the door apart, remove the screen then reassemble the door.
