Now the Whirlpool Arcelik hybrids are coming

Saw some earlier this year - but now there's just a bunch that's really weird.
When Whirlpool aquired Indesit/Hotpoint, they hybridizing was pretty straight forward - laundry mostly Hotpoint, with some Whirlpool holdovers (like the dryer drums).

We have examples where a manufacturer churns out old design after acquiring someone else - like the Amica Samsungs.

Now, brands like Bauknecht and Privileg get Beko made washers and dryers.
But there's still a ton of Beko washers out there - and Whirlpool made Bauknechts.

Certain things are clear, but for example what is Mix 59 or Easy Care 59 on a Beko?

Really don't understand where their endgoal is. Especially with DWs.
Tumble dryers appear to go Beko designs. Washers probably as well?
Yet they can't let go of any other designs? Would have thought the unification would go much quicker...

I originally asked if Whirlpool owned Arcelik now, but I have found the answer on Wikipedia, so I edited out my original question.

 

Some Whirlpool factories were sold to Arcelik, and Arcelik now have a joint venture with Whirlpool.

I guess Arçelik repeats the history of the Antonio Merloni Group by buying up as many existing brands as possible in order to become a bigger market share.

These mergers can often take a while to fully work themselves out. When Maytag bought Whirlpool over here, the laundry changed over relatively quickly, but the kitchen products took several years to become fully merged - that didn't happen until 2009-2010 or so, more than 3 years after the acquisition. And a few "Heritage Maytag" products (as Whirlpool calls them) still survive in the Whirlpool lineup today (albeit with significant changes over the years).

It wouldn't surprise me if you saw previous designs from both Beko and Whirlpool linger for years to come.

Which products are ‘Heritage Maytag’?

I was under the impression that Whirlpool got rid of everything that Maytag was doing in favor of rebranding their own stuff. What genuine Maytag products still exist, and how were they changed?

Not to set the thread too off topic, but the main Maytag products still in production today are the bottom freezer fridges (actually date back to Amana pre-Maytag) and the double oven ranges (which are based off the Maytag Gemini. Whirlpool made many changes to the styling and controls, but the former Maytag factories in Amana, IA and Cleveland, TN are still open making these same basic products.
