In the world of CL appliance listing, two weeks can mean a machine is long gone to either a buyer, or worse the knackers yard.
There is a large and growing group of persons hovering over CL adverts for appliances they can either refurbish and sell, or worse break down for parts/scrap. Our area is over run on recycling day with men in trucks on the prowl for appliances.
You might wish to speak with the seller and see if you two can come to some arrangement.

Laundress you are so right about that, no matter, washer stove anything Metal will be gone by daybreak. When my nice neighbor passed away next door the kids had given me a long rusted up cabinet sewing machine, i only wanted the cabinet, the scrapper made a good haul that day, i bet that sewing machine head weighed 40- to 50 lbs. alr2903
