Gary P and his friend Mike drove in from Indy to pick up his Maytag 140 Amp that he bought from me, and also an Ironrite model 85 Mangle that I found in this weeks estate sale that Im doing. We spent Sat eve showing the washers to Mike, who got a big kick out of two guys that love washers as much as Gary and me!. Tim from Elyria (Timinator) joined us on Sunday, driving his cute little 72 Pinto down that he wonderfully restored. We played with the washers, mostly my new found 1960 Frigidaire set and the Norge Dispensomat. I think we may have even convinced Mike to get a vintage washer!

Fun!

Looks like you guys had lot's of fun Jimmy.
I just can't get over your Norge, and how beautiful it is!
Also love your 1968 Imperial. Looks like you could fit that Pinto in the trunk of it without any problems.
Thanks for the pictures.

to much fun

looks like to much fun for one day.. cool machines and even a pinto to play with.. now thats my idea of a full days fun

That sure looks like a really fun day!! I love the vintage cars and washers; what a super combination!!

Is that a 1950's Chrysler next to the Imperial, or is it a Dodge? 1959? I just love the back styling of those cars; it looks like you were taking off into the air ...

Looks like a good time was had by all!

Thanks for sharing!

The Norge Dispensomat is one of my all time favorites, so I'm especially enjoying the pics of that! Thanks again.

Mike

YAY for wash-ins

Looks like everyone had fun!! Gary, congrats on the new Maytag! And an AMP too, even better! Nice cars as well...Tim your '72 Pinto is cute and looks great!

I am truly in awe over the Norge Dispensomat, what an impressive machine. Extra-tall backsplash, time-line controls, lights, flexible temperature settings, multiple dispensers, the list goes on!! And is that a CLOCK on the control panel?!? When was the last time you saw THAT on a washer or dryer? Amazing...

Thanks for sharing!

Is that a GE I see?

I have a request for the GE I see next to the sink opposite the norge - It looks like a beauty - can you post a few pics of it?

From one Filter flo fan to the next!

don't stop.....

Wow, it's so cool to see somebody restore a PINTO -- and tastefully done at that! The world has plenty of Shoebox Chevies & Chevelles but seeing cars like this is refreshing! Nice choice of wheels too.

I'd sure like to see more of that Ambassador. I especially like the full-width taillamp treatment -- does it have a 304 or 360 or 401??

It's also nice to see an Imperial that won't fall into the hands of a derbier...

Man, I'd have enjoyed hanging out with you guys last weekend...

Hi All, It looks like you guys had a great time at the Wash-In. Jimmy, the Norge Dispensal looks wonderful in your basement laundry room. Such a neat machine. Thanks for sharing. Terry

What Fun!!!!

I had a great time at Jimmy's..(allways do) lots of fun stuff to play with he even fixed up and old philco console radio I had...which btw...I hauled back in the Pinto. Looking forward to the next time...who knows who..or what may show up there ...Thanks again Tim (Timonator)

I have found my dream machine! The Dispensomat is gorgeous! Great pics too! Would love to see it wash. And Gary how did you talk him out of that beautiful Tag? Like the pic of Gary and the suds, now he thinks there all supposed to do that! LOL Great cars too, Looks like a great time was had, which there are to few of in this fast paced world!

Great pics

Would love to see some more closeups of the cars too..I was sure that car beside the Imperial was another Chryco and not a Lincoln? That Pinto wow, you hardly ever see one on the road anymore. All I remember of them is helping a friend do pharmacy deliveries in a Pinto wagon way back when... oh the pain LOL.

Looks like everyone had a grand time! Beautiful pics of some of the great appliances. That Dispensomat is truly a dream machine, Jimmy. What kind of shape was it in when you found it?
