Oil continues to drip out of the maytag wringer washer we have. It looks as if it drips from the inside of the post that the wringer is attached to and accumulates on the wheel and then on the floor. Can someone give me some information on what the problem could be.

Should be a problem with the bearings / washers that seal the oil-bath gear-box against outside...
I guess.
We had the same problems / systems in our old MIELE wringer-washers from the Fifties, too.

I have a couple of A606 automatics that leak varying amounts of oil through the center of the transmission shaft to the drive wheel below. I understand the problem is leaky seals. On my list. The hard part will be pulling the agitator.
